I just want to inform the devs, that I've successfully compiled and installed energymech-3.0.99p3
on a a Mac OSX 10.5.8 (leopard). But I had to make 2 changes.
I had to include limits.h in the functions.c file and I had to put "-fnested-function" to the cflags.
Here are the corresponding compiler errors:
function.c: In function ‘is_safepath’:
function.c:1068: error: ‘PATH_MAX’ undeclared (first use in this function)
function.c:1068: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
function.c:1068: error: for each function it appears in.)
function.c:1073: error: nested functions are disabled, use -fnested-functions to re-enable
After that, everything compiled fine and I'm runnnig it now without any problems so far.

Maybe you could make some changes to make it easier for other people to install it on mac platforms.
Thanks for developing.
