(anonymous)		Problem #1 Using the trick.conf doesn't work - the trick.conf is: set userfile mech.userfile pleung + pleung * !pleung@mydo.com 100 pleung save shutdown After run this "./mech -f trick.conf", it creates the "trick.conf" but nothing inside. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Problem #2 The bot does not respond to command from the channel I setup the "cmdchar" to "-", for example. The bot is in the IRC channel, and I /msg <bot> -help, and the bot does not reply. Ok, this problem is related to problem 1, if no mech.userfile, so I Vi the file to this user pleung mark !@.mydo.com chan * opt u100 I run the emech debug, and get following when I sent a command, (in) {5} :pleung!n=pleung@ip123.mydo.com PRIVMSG cmBot :-ver (send_spy) src message format = '<%s> %s' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The emech is running under "uname -a" Linux server.mydo.com 2.4.20-24.9 #1 Mon Sep 5 11:35:51 EST 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux Is it a know issue? And solution or suggesiton?
