    Been trying to move my emech from one box to another, and the build on the new box appears to go fine, but when launching the bot, all the DNS lookups are wrong:

(SockConnect) irc.efnet.net 6667 [VHOST]
(get_ip) irc.efnet.net -> 100.63.99.0
(get_ip) uptime.energymech.net -> 0.96.118.11
[CtS] Setting rejoin- and synced-status for all channels
(send_spy) src status format = 'Trying new server: %s:%i'
(SockConnect) irc.efnet.net 6667 [VHOST]
(get_ip) irc.efnet.net -> 100.63.99.0
[CtS] Setting rejoin- and synced-status for all channels
(send_spy) src status format = 'Trying new server: %s:%i'
(SockConnect) irc.efnet.net 6667 [VHOST]
(get_ip) irc.efnet.net -> 100.63.99.0

The new box is Linux 2.6.18 on amd64. I'm wondering if it's a 64-bit problem.

    Did you move the binary or did you recompile?

    Recompiled. Several times. The problem occurs both with an without the async DNS resolver.

    sounds like the problem is with system libraries then, not the energymech.
